13 Mar, 2024 – Precise and focused aromas of black cherries, strawberries and ripe cranberries. Medium-bodied with a tight and focused palate showing crunchy tannins that are firm and lightly chewy in the best way. Slightly smoky at the end with transparent fruit. Cool and racy. I like it even better than the superlative 2020. Drink in three or four years.

Splendidly fruited and engaging, the bouquet shows dark plum, cured meat, dried mushroom, violet and roasted nut aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that's succulent and seamless. Complex and new, lively and very expressive, aromas of site and place with a core of fine gravel and stones then dark cherry flesh and plum. Violets and dark roses follow then spices of clove and some vanill and nutmeg. On the palate - tannins are fine and layer in a lovely balanced mouthfeel; acidity is pristine and fresh and along with the tannins present a sound structure. A well made wine ready to drink from day of purchase through 2030.

Dense, deep red colour. The nose is concentrated yet fragrant with dark fruit aromas, complex, focused and very expressive. On the palate again concentration without being heavy. An elegant Pinot Noir with beautiful transparency, excellent structure and tension and very fine tannin support in the finish, reflecting one of our most exciting vintages since 2010.
