Named after our winemaker Hätsch Kalberer, this wine reflects his 25 years of knowledge and understanding of several great Marlborough terroirs. A thoughtful composite of our five individual single vineyard wines, Cuvée “H” expresses a winery signature. It is the best Pinot we feel we can make and represents what we appreciate most in fine Pinot Noir. 

Officially released in 2017 at Pinot 2017, the Fromm Pinot Noir Cuvée 'H' 2015 was the first vintage release of this wine.

This is totally charming and irresistibly delicious. Plump, fleshy and succulent, the wine exhibits red/black cherry, blueberry compote, floral, cedar and fragrant spice characters on the nose with a hint of dried herb complexity. It is mouthfilling and velvety on the palate with fabulous fruit purity and richness within a classic structure provided by an abundance of polished tannins. Multi-layered and symphonic, a glorious expression combining fruits from five single vineyards. At its best: 2019 to 2028.

bright red cherries carry bright, spicy and lightly earthy nuances on the
nose. Flavours of fresh red and black cherries are swathed in gently creamy
