“At mere a 12% alcohol, this is perfectly ripe, fragrant and inviting on the nose with black/blueberry, Black Doris plum, violet and a hint of white pepper aromas. The palate is concentrated and generously flavoured, backed by plenty of supple tannins. Youthful and instantly charming, the wine is approachable yet promises to develop magnificently. At its best: 2017 to 2028.”

“Very full, very deep, black-hued ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues.  The bouquet is firmly concentrated with deep, but elegantly presented aromas of blackberry fruit entwined with black and white pepper and seamlessly melded with lifted black and violet florals, some dark herbs and mineral elements.  Medium-bodied, this has a tight and concentrated core of black-berried fruits intermingling with black and white pepper, liquorice and spices and a subtle dark herbal line.  The palate features fine, grainy tannins and fresh acidity, lending a firm, lively, linear flow.  The flavours of black fruits, spices and pepper are carried to a moderately long, elegant finish.  This is a tightly bound black-fruited Syrah with peppery and spicy notes, a fine, grainy structure and lively mouthfeel.”
